Our Mission
The mission of the Bible Society is to make the Bible available to people in a language they can understand, at a price they can afford and in the format they can use, and to help them interact with the Word of God.

Our Work
The Bible Society of Singapore supports the printing of millions of Bibles in countries as near as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, to China India, reaching across to the far shores of Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Bosnia, etc.

In addition to subsidizing the publishing of Bibles and Scripture distribution activities in countries that are not able to support themselves fully, the Bible Society of Singapore also heavily subsidizes the distribution of Scriptures to prisoners, drug rehabilitation trainees, the old, the blind and disabled in Singapore. Projects and events are organized to involve Christians in Singapore to join hands, making Bibles available to the less fortunate within our shores, as in the case of Project SEED.

Making Scriptures available is not all that the Bible Society of Singapore engages in. Bible reading programmes and material, Bible quizzes, exhibitions, and the production of related Christian material are regularly organized and publicized. These activities serve to promote awareness of the need for Scripture in many lands amongst many people groups, crying out for God Word. Testaments, Portions and Selections are also produced to make Bible verses more easily available for the renewal of Christian life and for missionary purposes, distributed largely free of charge.  Testaments and portions are published at the lowest possible cost or free for evangelistic purposes.

The Bible Society of Singapore is the largest supplier in Singapore of all kinds of Bibles and Scriptures in all kinds of languages to churches and Christian bookshops, maintaining a showroom for individuals to buy not only Scriptures but also aids to the study of Scriptures at competitive prices. Part of the proceeds from the retail bookshop is used to support the global distribution of Scriptures.
