Translation Work

Translation work is critical to the Bible mission movement and there is an urgent need to do more.

Publishing

The Bible Society of Singapore supports the printing of millions of Bibles in countries as near as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, to China and India, reaching across to the far shores of Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Bosnia, etc.

Distribution

Millions of people do not even own a single Bible. There are more than three billion people living in under-served countries who survive on less than $2 a day – well below the poverty line. With their struggle to just have enough to eat and keep warm, owning a Bible is a luxury they can ill afford. One of the missions of The Bible Society of Singapore (BSS) is to make the Word available to all people. BSS translates, publishes and distributes the Word of God to meet this need. However, our ability to make these Bibles available to the people in need is constrained by the resources that are available. Your contribution can go a long way in this advancing this work

Literacy

Literacy is about dignity, independence and wholeness. Being able to read and write gives people access to essential information, empowering them to make well-informed decisions and seek employment. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to read, write and hope in the abundant life that Jesus offers.
